Erica Yglesias (sunshine pumper) realized she was on the wrong path while walking through the student union at SLU. She decided that epic day in 2003 that she would pursue a career in hair and hasn’t looked back since. Her genuine love of art and beauty propelled her to enroll in Aveda Institute where she graduated in 2004. Erica worked downtown at a Paul Mitchell focus salon for over 6 years and mentored under Laura Souter. In 2007 she became a Paul Mitchell Educator specializing in teaching men’s hair cutting. She has a true passion for men’s grooming, and even has her barbers license! Erica aspires to be the best stylist on this side of the Mississippi. With the determination of a Taurian bull she decided to take a leap into salon ownership in 2011. Erica loves being a business owner and her Mod squad. This magical, hilarious woman still employs her artistry in a very down to earth manner. With her vivacious spirit, Erica is the perfect drum major for Mod Salon. Fun facts about Erica: she is a third generation hairdresser, she is left handed, loves Louisiana festivals and bearded men.
*Erica is unable to accept new clients at the moment, because her loyal clientele keep her consistently booked!

She graduated beauty school in 2010 and has attended trainings all over the country to elevate and enrich her technique. Ashley is a National Color Educator and is not afraid to add a little life into the formula/mix. She knew she wanted to do hair since the 2nd grade after convincing her friend that her horse’s tail needed layers, and in high school she worked in her aunt’s beauty shop helping however she could. Ashley enjoys submitting her own jokes into Laffy Taffy during her spare moments, as well as exploring the state, one festival at a time.
